harrison mumford
on page 4 of my P.S. 666 story there's a 3/4 splash page where most of my characters get into a big school rumble in the hallway. this little drawing i did of harrison mumford fighting is one of favorite things about this story. in the scene he's fighting with muddy lagoon who's attacking him with a trident.vamp racer
this vampy racer appears on page 2 of my P.S. 666 story. in the scene she's happily speeding away after dropping her son off at school whom she leaves coughing in a cloud of exhaust.krackers the killer klown
one of the first characters i had created for use in my P.S. 666 story. but as the creative juices started flowing and i came up with more characters this poor bastard just got pushed off to the side. i wanted to use him in the class picture panel on page 1 but he didn't fit. so i used him elsewhere within my story as an "extra". i debated putting krackers initials on his forehead (KKK) but went with the pentagram instead.the clockwork kid
another character i created that never got used or even got passed the rough pencil stage. an obvious take on malcolm mcdowell's character in the stanley kubrick classic a clockwork orange.P.S. 666 (page 1: the monochrome versions)
just playing around with some color options. (the original version is is full color.)first i desaturated the color page which turned it into gray tones. the one on the left i gave a -100 cyan color balance. the one on the right i gave a -100 yellow color balance. i like the monochrome versions as it sort of gives the pages an old timey "black and white" movie feel.

Dude these are awesome!!! Love Mumford, he kicks ass!!! And I like that Clockwork Orange kid too! A lot cuter than Malcolm that's for sure. Um, don't care much for the monochrome pages, but if I had to pick one, the golden one. Great stuff dude, you're on a roll!
Everything looks great! Love to see the sketches and variations and all. Hopefully we'll get to read the whole story at some point!!
I really dig the "Vamp Racer" art...I wonder why?
P.S. 666 IS IN LIMBO AND WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED ANYTIME SOON.
just thought i'd mention it again here. i mentioned it in the post (all the way at the bottom!) but i get the feeling some a yooz mighta skipped all those wordy parts.
no matter. the story's pretty much done and i'm happy with it and it's all mine and that's all that matters i guess.
like i said, long story short, the project kinda fell apart at the end so seeing it in a published book format might not happen anytime soon if at all.
sorry to disappoint anybody who was expecting to read the whole saga sooner than later.
jesse, justin and rob-
thanks for the kind words!
Awww, dude, I usually read all your useless banter but I guess I missed this part! Sorry to hear that...well, just keep pushing forward with it, have it ready, and someone else will come along and publish it, you'll see. Never give up, bro!!!
Happy New Year Jason!
Sorry all this great stuff is not going to press (yet)
but keep it on a backburner till they get their shite together...in the meantime, you weren't on a massive email chain that went around the workplace last month, but some of the bloggers are thinking of working up a Bettie Page tribute and I thought
your take on her would be awesome if you'd like to include something....no harm no foul either way...
just thought I'd extend the invite...
hey glen!
thanks for the kind words and the invite. i had read about the betty page tribute project you all had going on the blogs and have seen justin's contribution already.
his was cool and i'm lookin forward to seeing yours and everyone's else's.
as for me...i wanna do one but as of late i've been in chill mode as far as my art is concerned.
Seriously cool stuff. LOVE the car piece but all of it is excellent!
Cheers!
